Chapter 74
- Over the next few days, Lucas was more receptive to the wholesome care he was meant to receive. He had finally allowed a physiotherapist to conduct a session for him, which was going to take a couple of months. Everything was to be centered on getting him back on his feet again.
- Most of all, he did not allow Jason out of his sight. He wanted him to be around all the time right in the house and Scarlett had to tell Alex not to bother coming to pick him up.
- Whenever they talked over the phone, she felt bad as Alex felt distant and neglected. She felt safe in Lucas' house with her son and the twins. It was as though it was where she was supposed to be. Claire and Callan loved Jason like the younger sibling they never had. Callan loved him more and even though Jason had been given a separate room, he was always spending the night in Callan's, where they were either playing some video games or exploring new toys.
