Chapter 42

• Daphne searched for her brother in the entire house. His study was empty, with files scattered around, as though they had been flung around by him in a fit of rage. She dashed to his bedroom and a similar mess sat there, but Clara was tapping away on her phone as she nibbled on some cookies.
• "Have you seen Lucas?" She asked her even though she did not want to. Clara looked up at her and chuckled.
• "You all have been acting so weird since that Scarlett girl died, and I think that at some point, you all would move on," she said without an iota of emotion.
