• "You look so beautiful, Scarlett," Lucas mentioned for the third time in a row and Scarlett's cheeks reddened again. There was a charm that he possessed that was peculiar to him, one that she knew that she would not get from anyone else.
• "I still can't believe that you shut down the whole of Brickward for this date," she said, leaning in.
• "Special people deserve special things, and besides, I can afford anything that I want," he said with a tinge of pride. Scarlett rolled her eyes and he chuckled at her expression.
