• Daphne decided to pay Lucas a surprise visit. She was almost done with her program and would soon graduate with flying colors and get that dream job she had always wanted.
• She had submitted a few resumes to some prestigious firms, and about two of them had reserved a job for her.
• Lucas had always told her that she could come to work for him in his company, but she had always declined. It was not that she did not qualify for a job in his company, but she needed to be independent of him. She knew her brother and how demanding he could be, especially to his employees. She would not want nepotistic treatment from him either.
