• Scarlett was not sure of how to react when she saw Alex standing there, looking down at her with an unreadable expression in his eyes.
• She looked back at Daphne who had guilt written over her face. She had to be a snitch and rat her out to Alex. Scarlett shook her head at her in disappointment.
• "You know you should have just told me you were here, right?" Alex began, still looking down at her. He was leaning against the doorframe and for a moment, she forgot that they were in the hospital. He looked deliciously good in that stance.
