• Alex rushed through his meeting with his new investors for his startup. He had taken so much time to prepare hard for the meeting, but thinking about Scarlett in the hospital, his attention span dwindled.
• Once the meeting had been concluded, he rushed to the hospital. The doctor had sent him a message that Scarlett was awake again. He had looked forward to it. She had collapsed into a coma for two weeks, and it was such a relief that he was finally awake.
• On his way, he thought of a gesture, something that would make her feel safe around him. He soon decided on some red and white roses he saw on his way, and he got them.
