• Ugo asked herself as she watched mother and son hugging. Dante had lied that he didn’t remember her and she had believed him. But he remembered Evelyn, who it seemed is his mother. He remembered her just as he remembered the ring yet he claimed to have forgotten her, amnesia her foot. She stood, watching, waiting as he said something to the woman, who looked at him with tears in her eyes, as if she didn’t want to let go. Reluctantly, she left him, turned and smiled at Ugo, then she climbed back onto the bike and they were gone. It was time to give this man a piece of his mind.
