Chapter 66
- Kathryn didn't get a chance to turn and see what he meant as glass exploded beside her, the car window shattering into thousands of tiny pieces. She screamed in panic, her first thought that they'd been involved in a car wreck until she realized their SUV hadn't been hit.
- "What the hell," Rain yelled, reaching behind him and pulling out a pistol, aiming it at her car door.
- "Davina Gregory," a man called from just outside the car, his Scottish accent making her heart clench in absolute terror. She whipped her head towards him, fearing that her father was going to be just on the other side of the car door.
