• Daniel was livid as he stepped out of his sports car and buttoned his suit jacket.
• Zack had just called him twenty minutes ago, claiming to have lost sight of Kathryn. They'd been gone for less than two hours, if that, and already she was missing.
• Where on earth had she gone? Daniel doubted that she would leave or try to flee from him, not now when he would place the blame on the Devil's Guardians for her disappearance. Regardless, he'd dropped everything to come here, track her down and drag her back home.
