Chapter 35

• Instead of listening to her, he sped up. Pulling out his phone from his pocket, he quickly sent a text that she didn't get to read as she tried to look over his shoulder. Before long, they were at a set of steel double doors. Rain knocked once. Paused. Knocked twice.
• After another brief moment, the doors opened and Rain pulled Kathryn into the room. It was insulated to keep noise from trickling in or out, but that wasn't what startled her.
