Chapter 31
- "Guess what, he doesn't have your cash," Zack remarked offhandedly, propelling Mr. Moore forward. He hit the tile of his dining room floor with a solid thud, crying out when his injured hand cushioned his fall.
- His nose was bandaged from where Daniel had previously broken it, with greenish bruises under his eyes. He'd been on the mend until Zack had broken the bone again. Blood seeped down the man's face, staining his immaculate white shirt.
- Typically, Daniel didn't make house visits, but it seemed he was doing a lot of uncharacteristic things lately. Most of which he'd rather not dwell on, so he wouldn't. Instead, he'd divert his attention to those who merited his wrath. Like one Alfred Moore.
