• Jason felt a surge of relief as she handed over the address, but he could see how much this conversation was troubling her. He reached out and brushed a lock of hair behind her ear, his touch lingering on her cheek. “ Thank you for trusting me, Lucy. I won’t let you down. ”
• Lucy’s lips twitched into a small, hesitant smile before she stepped back, her eyes still clouded with doubt. “ I just hope you know what you’re getting into. ”
