Rachel’s eyes widened, and she quickly crossed the room to sit beside Lucy on the couch. “ What? How? When? ”
Lucy took a deep breath and recounted the events of the previous night. Rachel listened intently, her expression shifting from shock to empathy.
“ Oh, Lucy, ” Rachel said softly, placing a comforting hand on her friend’s shoulder. “ We need to find out for sure. Let’s go get a pregnancy test. ”
