• Jason regretted bringing Greg along almost as soon as they pulled into Lucy's street. Greg had been ranting non-stop about how busy he’d been, all the way from the moment Jason picked him up. Now, as they approached Lucy’s house, Greg was still at it, leaning back in his seat with a sigh.
• " Man, how bad of me, " Greg muttered, shaking his head. " I haven’t met your bride-to-be and my godson properly since you guys got together, all because I’ve been fucking busy. " He finished the sentence with a dramatic flourish, and Jason shot him a sideways glance, shaking his head.
• Jason had been on the fence about inviting Greg in the first place, but Greg had insisted, and now, he was starting to regret it. His friend could be a good guy when he wanted to, but he had a knack for being inappropriate at the worst times. Jason hoped Greg would tone it down, at least for Lucy and Dylan’s sake.
