Chapter 74

• He took a sip of his coffee, staring out the window, lost in thought. He knew he had to be patient, to give her space. But it was hard. He had waited for so long, and now that he had found her, he didn’t want to waste another second.
• He would wait for her response, he decided. He would wait as long as it took. But he wouldn’t give up on her. Not now, not ever. He would find a way to see her, to talk to her, to make things right.
• For now, all he could do was hope. Hope that she would give him a chance, that she would let him back into her life. He finished his coffee and stood up, feeling a little more determined. He didn’t know what the future held, but he knew one thing for sure.
