Chapter 24

• Within 10 minutes, Jason got to the club and after parking his car in a safe place, he proceeded to look for Evelyn. He found her in a corner, gulping down the content in a glass cup. Jason had no doubt it was alcohol and truly, the bottles of empty rums were lying around her. He saw Evelyn swaying back and forth and Jason grabbed her just in time before she embarrassed herself by falling on her ass.
• She looked up and she squinted her eyes, as if she was trying to remember who he was. " Oh! It's my sweetheart, Jason! " She exclaimed rather senselessly.
• " Come on, let's get you of here, " Jason muttered.
