Chapter 84

• As soon as he ended the call with Stephanie's mum, he hurried back to his office. He had left his other phone on his office desk before leaving for launch.
• As he made his way to the elevator, so many thoughts went through his mind. It all began to make sense him. It was all getting clearer now. The strange looks he had gotten from some of his staff when he showed up to work that morning. Even during the meeting, he had observed a somewhat strange kind of reaction from his board members but he hadn't thought much of it at the time.
• Standing in the four cornered elevator box, he stared at the green light on the left side of the door as the machine took him up, Jacobs realized that that was probably why Stephanie had refused to come to work that day and had also refused to answer the phone when he had called her to know why she wasn't at work. She must have been angry or sad. He just couldn't imagine. One thing he knew for certain was that he had to see those notifications that were uploaded online for himself. Afterwards, he would know what to do.
