• Steph ignored the ringing, when she saw who was calling. Nothing good would come out of picking her mother’s incessant calls, when she had a clear idea of what her mother wanted to tell her.
• It was the same- get married, where is your husband, you should not be alone at this point in your life and the whole talk that went on and on each time they sat down or had a phone call.
• She knew her mother was worried because she was the only child, and she would not like to see her daughter stay single forever, so she tried to push her forward before she got engrossed and obsessed with work.
