Chapter 16
- The receptionist led the way to the conference room where the interview was to be held. The hall was neat and has a cool feeling to it. The hall held different doors whaich she thought to be the doors of different leaders or Managers.
- She might probably have one of these times office to myself if she worked hard enough, she thought. The receptionist led her to a door and motioned for her to go in. The first thing she noticed was that the room looked more alive than the waiting room. The walls were painted gray but with a lighter shade and splashes of different colours like a mistake at various parts of the wall which made someone to think that the designer was not comfortable leaving the room painted only in the gray colour. The room has a floor to ceiling window just like the waiting room opposite the enterance which gives the room more life. The interviewer were sitting at the far end of the long conference table and motioned for her to come forward towards them. She was instructed to see at their left hand side. They are three in number and before they started with the interview, they passed what she knew to be her file amongst themselves. The smiles on their faces as they go through her file helped her relax. She know her resumea was good as she graduated top of her class in college. With a major in art and minor in writing, she knew her talents would be recognized by persons with a nose and eye for talent not like the other companies she had applied to and went for their interviews.
- This is really good I most say. One of the men smiled at her. The smile reached his eyes as she saw his eyes twitch behind his classes that reminded her of one of her professor in college.
