Chapter 44

• "Okay, this is a bit weird..." Stephanie admitted to herself, stepping into the room that was bigger than her entire apartment.
• Although it had been arranged and prepared for her on such short notice, it seemed to have so much character from the lilac painted walls with actual lilac flower murals drawn into the walls, white ceiling and intricate designs on the ceiling. There was a king sized four poster bed pushed back against a wall with a hundred throw pillows and silk sheets that would no doubt feel like heaven.
• There was a vanity on another part of the wall, a desk, complete with a bouquet of lilac flowers, a walk in closet and a dark brown mahogany door that led to the ensuite. The window was large, encompassing an entire wall and a door led to the balcony that offered a sweeping view of the entire city. Hudson river glimmered in the distance as droplets of water thundered on every available object in its part.
