• The first thing Stephanie thought was, 'what the fuck?' What the fuck was going on? She didn't understand because that sure as hell couldn't be the person she was meeting up with. Maybe this was karma's way of repaying her for something she did but it was just too much.
• Dressed in old work clothes and wearing the filthiest pair of sneakers she'd ever seen, the short man made his way towards her table the moment he spotted Stephanie's bewildered face.
• 'Dear God, let this not be Williams, let it be a mistake,' Stephanie found herself muttering under her breath as the man approached, this time flashing a crooked grin that displayed all shades of brown and poorly spaced teeth.
