• Stephanie touched her temples and used her left hand to pick up the phone that laid on the dresser. "So you will come, yes? We miss you Stephanie, we just want to see you happy, that's not a bad thing now? Is it?" Her mom asked.
• " Yes I'll come and you're right, I have been keeping this mystery man away from you. Forgive me— if only it were true, she would have smiled at this very moment — I didn't want you or Dad to know anything about him yet because I wasn't sure, well untill now. We'll come for the Thanksgiving, you don't have to worry. It's in a week's time, yes?" Stephanie could have tasted the tiny traces of bike behind her tongue as she lied her way to her short termed sanity.
• Mrs stone gave a short giggle, a good sign that she was happy again "yes! It most definitely is, see you here by next week Friday, you and your mystery man. I'm so excited, I'm going to tell your father. Enjoy the rest of the day, we love you!!" She screamed into the phone one last time and hung up.
