Crystal stood at the threshold, her eyes scanning the empty space that had once been filled with Logan’s presence. The bed, neatly made, seemed to mock her with its pristine emptiness. It had only been less than 24 hours since he had left the Red Moon Packhouse, but the silence in his absence felt like an eternity.
