Chapter 116 The New CEO

• The company was strangely quiet today. Everyone was puzzled as to how the new CEO had instructed immediate resumption of the staff, not even a day or two to mourn the death of the Boss. It was almost like he didn’t care about his brother, but that would not come to me as a shock either.
• I was relieved when I learnt that two other staff members have joined me on this block. Although our offices were apart, it was good to know that there were people on the same block as me, it didn’t feel lonely now.
• Not long after I settled down for the day’s work, I heard the door squeak right before it was pushed open. I looked immediately and froze when I saw him, of course it was the devil himself. I had a feeling that this was the end, he would probably have me fired on the spot.
