Chapter 96 Ninety Five
- I got out of Ranch’s car in front of the hospital and waved at him before he finally left. Thankfully, we never talked about that again, and he accepted that I would just tell him everything when I was finally ready.
- I immediately took the elevator, barely wiping the sweat off my forehead. The heat of the sun had bit into my skin earlier before I entered the hospital. I carried a paper bag containing my mother’s favorite food. I took a deep breath to lessen the rapid beat of my heart, and my gaze focused on the elevator number above to know which floor we were on until it stopped.
- I got out of the elevator and walked into the room, passing by some nurses and doctors. I stopped in front of the door when it opened. I felt frozen, but when I noticed the female doctor, I breathed a sigh of relief.
