• When Zevran called me, I slid the cancel icon. Afterwards, I received a message from him; he had threatened me, saying that Ranch would lose his job if I went with him.
• His message boiled my blood. How dare he! And he even added that he was not kidding with an evil emoticon.
• I almost threw my phone out of annoyance, as my nerves were pinching. This caused Ranch to give me a quizzical look and ask if I was fine or if something was troubling me. However, I told him I was just excited.
