Chapter 50 Forty Nine
- I searched through Zevran's kitchen drawer but couldn't find any mugs. The kitchen was spacious with black dominating the color scheme, from the floor tiles to the countertops. There was a dark brown table that could comfortably seat six people, and the walls were painted in black and gray. I never would have guessed that Zevran's favorite color was black; I always thought it was aquamarine. Perhaps the decor of the apartment influenced his choice.
- Eventually, I found three black mugs in the drawer under the kitchen countertop. I placed one of them in the coffee machine and pressed a button before black liquid started pouring out. It was brewed coffee.
- I blew on the hot coffee before taking a sip, savoring the bitterness on my tongue. I couldn't find any creamer, so I added sugar until it was sweet enough for my taste. Success!
