• I followed Faith as she ran back to the church, and the two of them didn't notice us. How could I explain what Faith saw?
• "Faith, are you alright?" I asked, showing my concern. We were already inside the church when she faced me, smiling, but I could see the pain in her eyes.
• "I'm fine, Lauren. What I saw, there's an explanation for it. Isn't your friend like that? Going back to someone who's married?" There was accusation in her tone, bitterness seeping through her words.
