- The days had flown by, and before I knew it, Sanna's departure was only two days away. It felt too soon. I had only one day left to spend with my friend, and I needed to prepare for it. Sanna wanted us to go to the beach resort for a day, but now I didn't know how to tell my mother that I would be gone for one day, especially on the day of my father's death anniversary, which was on Friday.
