Chapter 49 Forty Eight
- Tears blurred my vision as I struggled against the man's unwanted advances. He whispered in my ear, his breath heavy with the scent of alcohol, and my dizziness worsened. I pushed him away, my body trembling with fear, but he only tightened his grip on my wrist.
- The loud music drowned out my cries for help, and I felt hopeless as the man's hot breath brushed against my neck. I knew I shouldn't have come here.
- Just when I thought it was all over, Zevran appeared out of nowhere and quickly took down the man, leaving him lying on the floor with a bloody nose. Three people rushed to pull Zevran off the man. As I slid down the wall, tears continued to stream down my face and my body shook uncontrollably.
