- Everything seemed supernatural as the light from the altar shone and created disturbing shadows against the stone walls. Still in shock from the attack we rarely escaped, I struggled to breathe as my heart ran ahead of me. Anxiety and the lingering effects of the recently released evil sorcery filled the atmosphere.
