• I had been unsure what to do. Indie had been telling me so many times in the last few days that they were due home today. Anyone would think she wanted me to know that Jake was coming home. I was regretting telling her I missed him now. As Lilah had told me, that Indie had been sharing that piece of information with her, with Dan, with Knox and no doubt anyone else who would listen. So I have learnt to be more careful what I tell Indie in future! There was no way that it would not have got back to Jake now that I was missing him. Yet I think I had kind of put that across in the few messages we had sent to one another whilst he was away.
• I was confused as to what to do with him coming back. I can’t lie. Lilah and I had spoken a few times. She explained Jake was struggling with what had happened. Which I understand, but then I hoped him going to visit Rose’s family might help. But from what Lilah said, Knox had told her it didn’t seem that had been the case.
