• Knox was not taking any prisoners today! He had spoken so bluntly to Mr Cartwright and had shocked me. He had promised me he would be patient, be understanding. He even said he would look into offering them business advice. So what the hell had happened?! Because that was not being patient and understanding by any stretch of the imagination! Though Mr Cartright was fucking rude! But he had literally just found out his daughter had died. Of course he was going to hate me. He was going to blame me, and try to find a reason for it. Isnt that just normal? Maybe Knox had over reacted?

I know there is no point questioning him, or even asking him to go back on what he has said or done, because when he is looking like that he means business. He does not want to listen. He was annoyed. No, probably past annoyed. Nearer furious.
• Even Rose’s Mum had assumed I was sleeping with Ruby. I mean I hadn’t. But I had feelings for her. So they had guessed that much. No, we never told her family that element to mine and Ruby's relationship, and they would never know that. But it made me feel terrible. I failed as a mate. I do not deserve a mate.
