• We have arranged a meal with the senior members of the pack before leaving, so we are gathered in the dining hall, the tables all formerly laid out. I have to say I feel like we are at a banquet in Victorian England rather than at a pack meeting. But anyway, Alpha John has promised us a good meal and some drinks before we settle for the night before our morning flight. I can’t say I am looking forward to the long flight home, but I am most certainly looking forward to seeing my wife and the kids too.
• Amazing how much you can miss them in such a short space of time, when you are so used to being with them all the time. I used to love being away from the pack and travelling before, and to be honest I still do, so long as Lilah and the kids can come with me, but if they can’t, then I don’t find the same enjoyment in it. Yeah, perhaps I am getting soft in my old age haha. Or perhaps, I just want to be with my mate and my family. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
• We managed to arrange flight tickets for Alicia to travel back with Luis, but unfortunately not until the day after us, as there was no availability on our flight, which is understandable at such short notice. But it gives them an extra day to get things in order and pack her things up for moving. I have asked Lilah to arrange them a house on pack for them to be living in, as I think it is only right as a couple that they have a house set up, and also, as a former Alpha’s daughter, she deserves to be treated well. It is only what we would want for my sisters.
