Chapter 60

• The next day had barely begun, and it was already showing that it wasn't going to be as pleasant as Eric had hoped. The blond woke up feeling like he had been crushed by a truck. He couldn't say for sure whether it was the excess of alcohol he'd consumed the day before or the fact that he'd fallen asleep with the weight of Jonathan and Hugo piled on top of him.
• He didn't quite understand how they had managed to sleep all night together on a single sofa. But somehow, miraculously, no one had crashed to the floor during the night, which had passed more quickly than they would have liked.
• He stuck his hands curiously between the entrances to the sofa where they were, trying to reach his hitherto missing cell phone. However, he was startled to hear the loud ringing that woke up the rest of his friends, indicating what would probably be the first alarm of the day.
