• Boyfriend. The word repeated itself in Jonathan's mind over and over again, and every time he said it to himself, with a low voice, feeling afraid, it seemed unreal.
• The man he had desired and admired for so long was now his boyfriend. And as great as it was to feel that his desires were materializing into the perfect life he had always imagined, he felt a little afraid that everything was going so well.
• Deep down, people get used to the exorbitant amount of problems that arise day after day and find it difficult to allow the slightest bit of happiness and satisfaction to take hold on a lasting basis. Even so, he couldn't deny it. It was more than he had once imagined. And as much as his mind, addicted to creating self-sabotaging images, wished it were, he had confidence in Elliot's full feelings.
