Chapter 39

• After his conversation with Harry, Jonathan hurried, anxious to get to the apartment as soon as possible. However, it seems that the more in a hurry you are, the slower everything becomes. When he reached the corner, he saw his bus pass by, and even though he promised himself that he wouldn't overspend this month, his possible solution for the moment was to ask for an Uber to take him to the apartment.
• And so he did, but he fell victim to an infernal traffic jam that left him stranded for longer than he could have imagined. They wouldn't be leaving until the evening, but he wanted to be home long enough to get ready. He wanted to moisturize his entire body, remove any remaining hair, and make his hair silky soft.
• Anxiously, he tried to distract himself with some games downloaded on his cell phone. However, he couldn't concentrate on anything he was doing.
