• It's hard to understand why bad things happen to good people. Perhaps there is no reason; it's just fate seeing to it that everything happens the way it's supposed to. Some believe in karma, others in divine punishment. Jonathan thought that life was unpredictable and that, however good you are in your actions and with the people around you, you can never be convinced that nothing bad is going to happen to you.
