Chapter 50

  • And after the long night, it finally dawned. The morning arrived shyly, taking its time to expose all its beauty as if it were preparing them for the day ahead. The three friends were gathered in the hospital cafeteria, and in just one night they had contributed more to the coffee machine than anyone else who had ever been there. They were trying to stay conscious, waiting to be able to take Harry home, as he would be discharged the same day.
  • He only needed to be observed for one night, and the doctors made it clear that in the presence of any unusual symptoms, it was necessary to bring him back to the hospital immediately. Apart from any basic recommendations to maintain his care, he was surprisingly well. Jonathan called Aila and asked her to cancel all her appointments, just as Hugo and Eric had to do since they wouldn't be going to work because of the disturbing night.
  • The youngest felt anxious, he knew that at some point his cell phone would ring, and he would have to tell Elliot why he had missed work. He didn't know how he would react, but his expectations weren't good. How could they be, since he was probably the person who had the least sympathy for Harry at this point? They both acted as if they were rivals, when in fact they needed to learn from their own mistakes.
