Chapter 12

• Jonathan had been restless since the previous night. Eric wasn't returning his calls and was completely closed off about whatever was happening in his life. Since waking up, the younger one sent a barrage of messages to his friend but received no response, which only heightened his anxiety.
• Today would be the first day since he was hired that Jonathan wouldn't have his friend by his side during work hours, and it saddened him in a way. He didn't wake up as excited as on other days, and didn't worry as much about his appearance as usual.
• He woke up earlier than usual due to his anxiety and quickly got ready, waiting on the couch until it was time to leave home. On the other hand, he still felt the butterflies in his stomach invading him every time he remembered the previous night.
