- There, standing facing each other, they noticed it was the first time they had looked at each other so closely. Their faces were inches apart, and each other's breath kissed their flushed skins. The sensation of being so close helped bring to the surface the feelings that had been echoing within their souls for a long time. It was liberating and frightening to feel the flood of sensations that one caused in the other.
