• Pacing around the grand hall, I find myself picking apart and re-arranging everything little thing around me. I must have re-folded every napkin here and reset each chair at least twice, the burning need for everything to be perfect. My nerves are standing at attention as I count down the seconds before Lexi emerges through the heavy wooden doors. I shut my eyes as I try to re-center myself for both Titus and I’s sake as I see the pack begin to enter.
• I’ve been patient, I’ve waited for everything to fall into place and finally I can say I’m reaping the reward. My mate is becoming one of us, she’s joining me in my pack. It may have not been easy, but fuck, now that I look at it, every second was worth it.
