• The soothing sound of running water echoes into the bedroom, forcing me awake. I feel the sun’s warmth radiating over my face yet there’s a bitter coldness that threatens to seep into my bones. As I sit up, my heart sinks when I see the empty space beside me.
• Liam emerges from the washroom moments later in nothing more than a white plush towel wrapped around just under the V of his abdomen. Oh Moon Goddess, why must you make my new Alpha so delicious? It’s not fair.
