• Regret surges through me as my pulse strums in my ears. I let the ice cold water drizzle out from the shower head, letting it swallow me whole. I nearly took down that prick Axton and wiped out his pack years ago. If it wasn’t for the other Alphas striking me down in a vote and saving his ass, he would be dead right now. I knew he was trouble then but now it burns me even more to know it was my mate who was suffering under his iron fist.
