• When the pack house came into eye sight and I felt the car had came to a full stop, I opened my eyes to see the car door swing open before I could even unbuckle my seatbelt. I lifted my head off of the leather passenger seat and I turned my head to see Eric standing tall beside the car with an amused expression. “Did you have a good time Lexi?”, he asked as a devilish smirk played onto his face.
• Even though my head was pounding violently and my limbs felt awfully heavy as I tried to move, a smile still crept onto my face and I teased, “the very best, the company wasn’t completely awful either.” Eric chuckled and extended his hand towards me to help me out of the vehicle and I felt my body shiver as an image of Alpha Axton suddenly fluttered through my mind. “I-I’m fine,” I explained as the thought of Alpha Axton made my stomach churn.
