Chapter 98 Couple's Fight
- GENESIS
- I froze in place when I felt him so close to me, and I was quickly reminded of the day he had returned home drunk. My body heated up, and my anxiety increased somewhat. But in the quiet room, the silence was even more overbearing. Sleep evaded my eyes as I thought of what could possibly go wrong, but again, he was my husband, and there was nothing, absolutely nothing wrong with it, if only I was prepared.
- For a long time, I simply stayed awake and waited for something to happen or for him to say something, but when nothing did, rather than the steady breathing on my face and the rise and fall of his chest, I relaxed and mentally slapped myself. He only wanted to sleep, and there I was thinking of stupid things when he was innocent. Seeing as there was no more danger, I decided to lie in a more comfortable position, on my side. Slowly, so as not to wake him up, I turned to my side, giving my back to him while moving slightly away too. He breathed heavily and wrapped his hand tightly around me, then he pulled me even closer so that my back was against his front, and once again, I froze. I waited again, for a long time, and when his steady breathing persisted, I closed my eyes and slowly gave myself to sleep.
