Chapter 39 The Intruder

• I raised my head and stared into Jordan's cold eyes. I swallowed hard, thinking about how he could possibly kill me. My vomit was all over him and my stomach still ached. He looked down at his body and then back at me, his gaze cold and angry. I found myself moving away from him, forcing a smile.
• "Are you crazy?" He yelled coldly. My head started spinning and my knees grew weak. I braced myself for a hard fall, but strong arms lifted me from the ground. I leaned into Jordan as he carried me, the sweet smell of his cologne mixed with the stench of my vomit. It was disgusting, but I held onto him and closed my eyes to stop the spinning.
