Chapter 151 Reunion
- "If you didn't invite him over, then who did?" I growled at Aiden, feeling rage and panic welling up inside me as I paced back and forth in my study.
- "I thought your mother might have sent him the message. I only just received mine," he explained calmly, and I froze. Realization dawned on me, and I realized how foolish I had been to think that they would invite Nathan over for dinner after I had told them what had happened between us. They would never do that, not to me or my newfound happiness. But since Mom didn't know, she might have gone ahead and sent him an invite. I groaned, regretting why I hadn't informed her about the new issues that had arisen between us. But who knew that Genesis would have wanted dinner, and Mom, who was not on good terms with Nate, would go ahead and invite him over when she couldn't stand the sight of him?
- "You shouldn't have yelled at me like that, Jordan," Aiden mumbled, and I sighed, realizing how wrong I was to have wanted to unleash my anger on him.
