Chapter 205 Losing My Husband And Child
- GENESIS
- I spent a longer time in the bathroom this time around. The heat and steam of the shower had become my comfort, and I was scared to leave it. I would only return to our bedroom, which had become a hunting ground for me. Every place and thing smelled of my husband, and each reminder of him brought back the anger he had against me and the secret I had adamantly kept from him.
- I missed him, every part of me missed him. It felt as if life was slowly and gently leaving me, and I couldn't stop it. Not that I couldn't, but I still didn't know how. I looked down at my tummy and noticed the slight bump that showed life growing inside of me. It was still so small, and with my choice of clothing, no one could notice. But for how long? He deserved to know, I had to tell him and explain how it all happened. I had to do it before I completely ruined our marriage. I sighed heavily, feeling a familiar burn in my chest as my hand ran in a circular motion around my stomach. I took a deep breath and exhaled to calm myself down. All I could think about was that he had to know, I had to tell him.
