Chapter 141 Interruption
- Jordan said nothing to me after the very awkward moment that lasted for a while. We just remained quiet inside the study while he rested his head on my back. I still wondered what had made him so angry and questioned if he knew the truth that I was trying to hide so much from him. The silence was gloomy and tiring, and although the air wasn’t as tense, I didn’t like the silence. Since he had decided to hug me from behind, I couldn't see his face and couldn't understand what he was truly feeling at that moment.
- “Jordan…” I decided to break the silence.
- “Hmmm,” he responded, and I thought it was a good thing. I mean, he wasn't going all silent on me, but I didn’t know what I wanted to say to him anymore.
