• Jordan said nothing to me after the very awkward moment that lasted for a while. We just remained quiet inside the study while he rested his head on my back. I still wondered what had made him so angry and questioned if he knew the truth that I was trying to hide so much from him. The silence was gloomy and tiring, and although the air wasn’t as tense, I didn’t like the silence.
